Parking and ZTL in Verona: how to arrive without a costly mistake
The simplest rule is to park first and explore on foot. Verona's historic centre has camera-controlled restricted access, while availability, tariffs and permitted routes can change.

Treat the ZTL as restricted
Do not rely on old access-hour advice or the fastest route in a navigation app. Confirm any permit or hotel procedure before passing a camera gate, and keep evidence of the arrangement.
Choose parking by your route, not a ranking
Official visitor information identifies central options including Park Arena, Centro, Arsenale, Isolo, Tribunale and Polo Zanotto. Pick by arrival direction, accommodation and the walk you are happy to make.
Continue on foot
Once parked, the main historic centre is compact. Walking is normally simpler than moving the car between Piazza Bra, the old town and the river.

Can I drive into Verona's historic centre?
Treat the central ZTL as restricted unless access has been explicitly authorised. Check the Comune guidance and your accommodation's procedure before entering.
